Castle Hangnail

Author: Ursula Vernon
RU Level: 6th Grade

The minions at Castle Hangnail are highly doubtful when twelve-year old Molly claims to be the new master of the castle.  After all, she is a very different kind of  "wicked."  However, as they help her with the list of new- master tasks so the castle isn't decommissioned by the Board of Magic, they soon discover that she has some secrets of her own that could put them all, and the castle they are trying to save, in jeopardy.

More delightful than scary, this book explores the meaning of true friendship and the result of believing in and thinking for yourself. A definite for girls who like fantasy and wonder what it would be like to have command of some very unusual minions!
